okay I started to blog about today.. but it didn't post so a quick recap. I woke up late. went to orientation at UCSC.. they said if I was there before 930 then I would be fine. Sat in an advising lecture that didn't help me at all. the lady teacher was a bitch. I hate this independent crap. went with lorelei to a psychology major lecture thingy.. that helped me a lot. now I know what classes to take. ate lunch with sher and meg in the shade.. took the chem placement test. I barely passed--out of 30 questions, all one needed was 15 correct, and Sher and I got 15 correct and we took that sucker with the quickness. However, meg took the test as if her life depended on it and she got 26 right. oh well whatever. I felt sorry for the people who got 14 correct. Anyway, we went to the computer lab and registered for our classes. Too bad all of the classes I wanted were FULL! I was pretty much screwed.. however, I kept trying and trying and trying and I was able to enroll in my psych class! whoohoo! I managed to sign up for psych and this martial arts class--aikido or something of that sort. I just need to sign up for my core class, but all of the classes are full, but a student told me that they'd fill me in somewhere since it's a required class for my college.. and I have to wait to register for my chem class because my test results aren't in the system yet. So my first quarter classes at UCSC are chem 1b, psych1 and secondary discussion, college core english class, and that martial arts class.. COOL!

My mother picked us up.. ate a second lunch at mcdonald's.. went online.. Jonathan dropped by after work to play chess with my sis.. Meg dropped by to pick up her cell phone.. and I am currently watchng "Maid in Manhattan" with my mother and sister.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

I woke up pretty late so I was rushing to get ready for cotillion practice.. I woke up right when it started so of course, I was late. Well I struggled with Mariel's cha cha again. I get it, but I'm slow with some of the moves. They are just too fast for me. So when I got home, I recieved a wonderful suprise... my new laptop! I watched "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days" on it while I waited for Jonathan to pick me up. Also during that time, I cleaned my room a bit. We headed to Mercado and ate at Tomatina's before watching "Legally Blonde 2". I ordered some regular fettuccine while Jonathan ordered something weird. I forgot what it was called, but it was a special and it was green with salmon on top.. it was okay tasting, but it was still weird. So the movie was pretty good, I thought it was good. On the way home, I smelled Jonathan's hand on purpose so he could smell it, and so I could push his hand against his face so he slaps himself. Well, it worked in a way. He smelled his hand but put it down right away, so my hand ended up slapping his mouth. He had the funniest look on his face! It was mixed with anger and confusion.. I guess a "wtf" look. We dropped off a video at Blockbuster, hung out for a bit, and he stayed at my house longer to play chess with my sister while I filled out some forms with my mom. I have orientation tomorrow.. at 8am! So that means I have to go to bed early so I can wake up early.. boooo

I just got my new laptop and it's so beautiful!

oh yeah... happy 4 months baby-boo-boo boo-boo-boo!!!!! hhaha ok that was ugly.. too much of Kate Hudson.

I had a dentist appointment today and my wonderful, wonderful boyfriend drove Leanna and I. He got pretty bored though while we were waiting for my sister to get her 39429034 million cavities to be filled, so he ran some errands. During that time, I got a filling that my dentist had to fill like 3 times because.. who knows why? When I was done, Leanna and Jonathan were chompin away on McDonald's. I grubbed on our way to watch "Holes" at Cinema Savers. It was a pretty good movie. We dropped Leanna off at home and the two of us headed to cotillion practice for Lisa. We learned part of the routine for cha-cha and then ate some lasagna that Lisa made. She didn't reall make it though because it was one of those pre-made things that she had to warm up, but she said that she DID make it because she had burns from it. Anyway, we watched part of "How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days" and it brought back some memories from February. I wanted the DVD, and I wanted it NOW so Jonathan and I headed to Blockbuster and I persuaded him to buy it for me (thank you sweeeetie pie! haha). We went back to my house and I watched my newest DVD. But Jonathan wanted to play chess, so we played one game and he won. I never liked that game anyway, so my sister played with him while I continued to watch. When it was over, my sister wanted to watch it again because she wasn't paying attention. Jonathan had to go home, so when he left, I watched the movie AGAIN with my mom and sister. Too bad Jonathan didn't pick up his phone when I was finished. Oh well.. now I'm just bored and waiting for myselr to get sleepy.
