A lot has happened since my last blog. When I say a lot, I mean life-changing events. I am glad that things did not get any worse. My sister is an angel. All I can say is that I am truly blessed. God really does answer prayers. It just sucks for a certain individual because when it rains, it pours. Karma is kicking you in the ass now.

sorry for my short drought

So what's been going on with me you ask? Let's see...

-I bought my sister a silver mini ipod 2 weeks ago because she would always ask to borrow mine. I even stopped using mine for a while too. But yeah, although my sister is a brat most of the time, I love spoiling her for some reason.
-School has been a bitch! Well, I've just been lazy I guess. I find myself not doing my homework at night anymore. I actually wake up early in the morning and do it RIGHT before I head to class. And these last minute essays suck asssss.. hopefully my effort isn't reflected in my grades. I hate having at least 3 paper due PER week.. and I'm not exaggerating either. This week, I had 4 papers due.. ahhhh. Well at least I'm done for the week (I just finished right now).
-Mama left for the Philippines again last week on Friday, and I held back my tears. This time, she was traveling alone, so we let the people at Philippine Airlines know, so they could watch her. She made it to the PI nice and safe =) I miss her and my grandpa so much already. I haven't seen my Papa since October? Ahhh.. come back soon =(
-Bowling--I've done a lot of this these past few days because Jonathan found himself a new hobby. Actually it's an old hobby, he just likes to rotate them around every few months. I'm making a prediction that in 2 months, he will be back to loving his guitars or his video camera.
-I've been sick since last thursday. I think I'm getting a little better though. I called in sick the whole weekend for work.. but the bf managed to drag me out of bed when he went bowling with Jeremy and Hansen and then watch "Coach Carter", bowling some more at Best Buy but for FREE, not drinking at Mike's little get together because I had Tylenol in my system, and shopping with my mommy.
-My mom has been making scarves (cute ones actually) nonstop for my sister and I. We went to Michael's over the weekend, and she was looking at the yarn, so my sister and I picked out cool looking yarn and crochet needle things. So far, my mom has made 4 scarves since Monday.
-I broke my cell phone in HALF. Yes, I think I do have anger management problems, but shit, that's what PMS can do to a lady! Jonathan was yanking my tail and I threw my phone and it hit the door, and it literally broke in half. The battery went flying one way, the top flap went another, and I couldn't find the bottom flap for a while. The thing that sucks is that my insurance with lockline was terminated because I broke/lost my phone twice already within a 12 month period. Sooo the only way for me to get a phone was to BUY one.. and phones are freakin expensive.. especially without a 2-year agreement.. which I have, but is not over yet. But yeah, good news is that I bid on a kyocera slider phone on ebay and won, bad news is that I bid on a samsung phone that I thought was color and won. Hopefully that seller will let me slide?
-Last night I went to work and I ended up spoiling myself with 2 new pairs of destroyed denim.. eek. Oh well, they are well deserved. I haven't splurged in a while since before Christmas and all that madness. I also spoiled myself with 2 new pairs of rainbow flip flops. I don't know.. for some reason when I like something, I have to have two of it or more.

Phew.. ok I left out a lot but whatever. That's all for now. I'm tired.

Oh yeah! Jonathan also recently joined myspace after 2349034 years and he's freakin addicted to it! I've had my account for a while now, and it's only recently that I've been on it a lot because of him! hahha.. we're losers. Oh well.

first week of the new year...

So far, the new year has been ok. Last weekend I finally bought Jonathan a bowling ball for his bday.. it is very pretty I must say. It was the ball that caught both our eyes, so we had to get it. I also started school, which is ok, but I have a feeling that this quarter is going to be freakin hard. I'm starting my upper divs.. so most of the people in my classes are juniors and seniors, but I'll do ok. I also worked a little bit, but I'm cutting down on work during the week so I'll have more time to do hw. Friday night, I went out with Joel, Jonathan, Jeremy, Hansen, and Hansen's friends to dinner at Bubba Gumps in San Franciso. The ride to SF was pretty fun since we made fun of Jeremy the whole time. Later that night, Jonathan, Joel, Jeremy, and I watched "White Noise" at Mercado.. really scaryyyyy parts, but the overall story line sucked. Yesterday I went to my sister's bball game then watched the boys game after, both teams lost... eh. My mother and I also went grocery shopping, only to have all our food consumed by my cousins who came over later that night. And that's about it.. I'll post pictures later on tonight if I finish my homework. SO MUCH READING TO DO!

Oh yeah! I also got my first speeding ticket ever! After driving for 3+ years, I get my first ticket! I was on the 17, going 67 mph. I thought it was a 65 mph zone because it was that one area where you drive straight for a while and there are these beachy looking food places with surf boards on the outside on your left, but I was wrong. It was 50 mph, and the highway patrol officer on a motorcycle caught me.. shucks. He was really nice to me though so I had no urge to cry. It sucks though because I always watch my speed on the freeway, sidestreets, everywhere, and I always obey them! Well most of the time. I remember 2 years ago, an officer issued me a ticket when I had Jenna and Angela with me for "trying to enter a restricted area" but I NEVER got the ticket.. so I guess I should disregard that eh? Hopefully that will happen to this one... yeah right! Oh well.

HOORAY FOR 2005!

So far 2005 has been great! Let's recap;

New Year's Eve/Jonathan's 21st
The day started off slow because I woke up late again and Jonathan had work. But then the family and I started getting ready, although we were all going our separate ways for the night. Jonathan picked me up at home, then we went to his house. Des, Mark, and Bea were already there, along with Joanne of course. Jonathan and I ate lots of spaghetti and deviled eggs.. then he changed out of his Best Buy uniform. Dominic came over and we played with his puppy! He's only 2 lbs.. sooooo cuuuute. Maddux pissed on the tiles, then found his way to the WHITE carpet and got into position.. about to crap! hahaha.. Jonathan picked him up RIGHT away and Maddux crapped in the air, and it almost fell into Jonathan's shoe. But it's ok, his crap is the size of a quarter! After Jonathan building "forts" around the house with Christmas presents to keep Maddux out of certain areas, he decided he wanted to go to Jay and Bung's place instead. So we all headed over there where the rest of his cousins were at. Everyone started drinking, but I only took 2 shots because I volunteered to be DD since it was Jonathan's first night of being 21. The rest of the night was filled with poker, blackjack, winning money, losing money, DVDs, drunken relatives, and loud screams. If I went into detail, this entry would be long. All in all, New Year's Eve was great! Another year has gone by with my sweetie.. I can't wait for a new one spent with him! Here are just a few pictures. New Year's Day
Since Jonathan and I didn't get home until 5am, we woke up late this "morning". I spent the rest of the day hanging out with my sis as always, then getting ready. Jonathan finally came over, I ate, and the two of us decided to go ice skating. We didn't have to pay full price for admission because part of the ice rink was closed due to the recent rain. A lot of people fell on their asses of course, but Jonathan and I didn't fall once! After ice skating for about an hour and a half, we went back to his house, cut his cake, and watched "Hero". I was still tired from our New Year's Eve, that I wanted to go home early... sooo Jonathan dropped me off at home, and here I am now! Ok here goes for more pictures:

New Year's Resolutions
1. Spend my money WISELY!
2. Maintain my 4.0, or at least nothing below a 3.5.
3. Eat healthy or just not as much junk/fast food.
4. Be PATIENT.
I think that's all because if I have too many resolutions, it's harder to maintain them all. HOPEFULLY I'll be able to keep my resolutions!
