My Thursday Afternoon Date
So my honey and I spent a whole day together... finally after a million years! He was supposed to come over in the morning time, but he had to run errands. I've been menstrual all week, so I kinda bitched at him, but we're fine, as always. Soooo.. we both got ready, changed, napped, and after a long time of trying to decide on what to eat for lunch, we went to this place called Bamboo. We ate there once before like last year, and Jonathan's been bugging me every now and then to go back, so I said fiiine for today. Afterwards, we had dessert at Cold Stone... and to our luck, my cousin Jayson was working! I didn't even know he worked there. So anyway, Jonathan got a "Gotta Have It" and I got a "Love It" size, with 3 mix ins, and waffle bowls, and Jayson charged us like 4 something! I didn't even ask him either.. what a great cousin! After that, we went back to my house and laid around. The playoffs were on, so we watched that until I fell asleep. I didn't wake up until 7pm, when Jonathan was kissing me goodbye because it was time for his bowling league. I fell back alseep and woke up at 8:03pm! I was devastated because I missed 3 minutes of The OC! ahh! So I watched, GREAT episode, hung out with my mom, then Jonathan came home for a bit. Now I should be writing a paper, but I think I'll put it off for a little bit.
update!
I wish I could keep up with this blog as often as I used to, but I find no more time for myself, so that means limited time for this! Anyway, this is what I've been up to since my last post:
SF Zoo
SF Zoo with the Patalot cousins and significant others where Jonathan bought me two peacock feathers that I forgot at Jay's house. On the way to the zoo, I was writing my freakin politics paper. I was even carsick, but I kept writing because I wanted to turn it in ASAP. At the zoo, I saw Nicole with her sorority sisters! I got to see gorillas, tigers, lions, bears, penguins, peacocks, birds, giraffes, zebras, flamingos, and la la la la.. lots of animals! Too bad it was a cold day, but Donald's friend hooked the whole family up with free tickets, so it didn't matter. On the way back, I was about to write my concluding paragraph of my paper, but my laptop died on me =( So I just fell asleep with Jonathan during the ride home. Back at Jay's, I finished up my paper, e-mailed it to my TA, and we watched DVDs throughout the night and played on the cool arcade and ate lots of food. We were exhausted by 10pm, so that's about the time we went home.
Work
Nonstop work for me! I usually work every single day except for 1 day off, and some days would be "double work days" where I work at both Hollister and Macy's in one day. Tired? Hell yeah I am! But I love being productive, so let's see how long I will last. Good thing summer vacation is coming soon!!!
School
I've been writing lots of papers, and I've also been lazy to go to class. Just this week alone, I skipped my morning class twice out of three times! haha.. It's ok, I'll go tomorrow. Hmm.. I received my midterms back, and I did ok.. a little better than I expected!
Salon Day with Mommy
I love the salon days with my mommy. We both got our french manicures and pedicures done, so we were at the salon for about 3 hours? Nonetheless, I had lots of fun because it was mother/daughter bonding time.
Happy Hour @ BJs
Last week I went to dinner/dessert with Jonathan, Neiman, Villiard, Sherilyn, Ellison, James, and Brian. Pizookies and appetizer pizzas all around! To make things better was that we got 1/2 off the pizzas, and a few bucks off of drinks. Too bad pizookies were still full price, but it's ok.
Grandpa Fidel's 40th Day
So on Saturday we celebrated our grandpa's 40th day. In the Catholic religion, the 40th day is when the soul goes up to rest in heaven. It was a fun family party with lots of food and lots of quality time. I love my family, they're so freakin awesome!
Mother's Day/Shopping
I know I said I would stop, but eh. I went major shopping with my mommy on mother's day! It was her treat, and my mom, sis, and I found dresses for my sister's graduation.. pretty dam exciting! My sister and I gave our mom the best present this year. I spent a lot of money, but I would have spent more if I had more money! I bought my mom a 14k gold heart locket necklace that can fit 4 photos. My sister put 1 pic of me, 1 pic of her, 1 pic of the both of us, and a little note in the 4th picture thing. We also gave her a gigantic card from Hallmark, and a matching green travel wallet from Macy's. I love spoiling my mommy since she spoils Leanna and I year-round.
Bye bye Cell Phone #3294802934
So Wednesday, I went into the bathroom in Social Sciences 1, and I saw some interesting writing on the wall in the stall. I put my cell phone down on top of the toilet paper holder because I just got off with Jonathan. So anyway, the conversation written on the wall intersted me so much, that I took pictures of it. I left the stall without getting my phone back! I went into the computer lab next door for about an hour and a half, and as I was leaving to go to class, I realized I didn't have it! I rushed back to the bathroom, and dammit, it was gone! I had Jonathan call it nonstop, and as soon as I got home (and also while I was at work) I kept calling it, hoping a Good Samaritan would answer, but no answer! I called again this morning, and the phone was off. I also checked the minutes online, and there was no activity! Sooo.. hopefully I will find it tomorrow when I go to school. Good thing Denzil was kind enough to give me his old motorola! I keep spending hundreds of dollars on new phones that I lose within 2 months.. so I might as well wait since I get my new phone in September when my contract expires. With that, just call me because I do not have anyones phone number anymore!
So with that, there's another update for my readers. I don't know if I've lost some due to the massive droughts I've been having, but eh well!

It's been a stressful week for me. Midterms, midterm papers, "boy" trouble, and another death in the family.
I had a midterm essay due today, well now, yesterday... but I didn't turn it in. That's a first for me. At least the teacher accepts late work- it just gets graded down 1/3 for each day late. So that just means if I have an A paper, I get an A-. Sooo.. I need to finish today. Although I highly doubt it's A material. I'm thinking of dropping my politics major now because I absolutely haaaaaaate reading, more than that, I abhor reading! Writing is fine.. but pages and pages and pages of crap that does not interest me.. argh.
As for the death in the family, my grandma's younger brother was diagnosed with cancer just this week, and today, my family and I found out that he passed away. My mom was crying a lot because she remembers the last time she saw him and said, "I don't know when I'm going to see you again" because that was when she was in the Philippines. Although I did not really know him, he is still family, and I hope he is resting in peace now with my Grandpa Fidel.
As for my boy trouble, it's over and done with now, and hopefully he learned his lesson.. just some people... grrr.
So after tonight, or more like this morning, I will not be stressed out because my goal is to finish this stupid stupid paper!!!

No more drought!
Wow, so I seriously haven't had a REAL update since my granda Fidel passed away.. so since I am in the computer lab at school, and I do not really want to prepare for Midterms, I finally have time! So since the viewing, this is what I have been up to:
-Grandpa Fidel's funeral and Novena nights. Although it was a time of mourning, it was great spending time with family I haven't seen in ages.
-Lots of working at Macy's, and not really Hollister. Getting paid every week is great from Macy's, especially when it's a double pay day (paid from both Hollister and Macy's)
-Milpitas parties: Jonathan's coworker's party and Wesley's party. I had lots of fun at both.
-Daylight Saving's time- I thought it would screw me over, but it didn't.
-Having 2 new additions to my family: my kittens Jungle and Blizzard. Lisa's cat had 4 kittens, so she gave me two. Jonathan, Leanna, my mom, and I have been having sooo much fun with these little bundles of joy, I absolutely LOVE them! and they sleep with me every night.. haha. Just a word of advice, please don't come up to me and say "Cats suck, dogs are better" because unless you've had BOTH for pets, I do not want to hear it, because I have had both cats and dogs as pets, and I love them equally the same!
-Going to a million different places to buy cat food, toys, collars, etc...
-First time filing taxes- even though I didn't do anything but give my papers to my mom while she took care of it all, this made me feel so old.
-Gene's party or better known as "UHM Quickstrike". I had major fun not only because my cousin paid for me to get in, but also because it was just fun partying with a lot of familiar faces! when's the next party???
-lots of shopping at Macy's.. we have sales like every freakin week.
-Warrior's game at Oakland arena.. warrior's won! Then a few folks came over and kicked it at my house.
-Hanging out with my cousins and Jonathan's cousins- ALWAYS a guaranteed great time!
-Acceptance into Psi Chi, the National Honor Society for Psychology here at UCSC!!! I'm a life time member.. holler!
-Writing my resignation letter to Hollister, but the day I was going to turn it in, I open up my paycheck, and I see a RAISE! holler!
-Strikes almost every day at UCSC for a week because of a million different things. I didn't participate in anyway.. I think because I do not care enough and I'm lazy.
-Neiman's get together.. then Jonathan picks a fight with me after because I messed up his "groove" haha.. long story.. but as always, we're all good.
-Amber and Ashley's 16th and 15th Birthday Party celebration where I saw more relatives and had lots of fun and lots of food to eat.
-The same day was Sam's Debut at Maggiano's.. great great great food and entertainment. My favorite was when my Jonathan was playing his guitar and Margaret singing, but mostly Jonathan playing =) and also the little girl doing tahitian! man she can really shake it!
-Staying up until 4am doing last minute midterm essay.
-More work, picking up Leanna from school, shopping, Jonathan time, etc...
The next few days consist of-
-Midterm essay due Friday
-Midterm exam on Friday
-payday!
-The OC!
-work
-San Francisco Zoo and maybe Jeremy's formal for XYZ
Until next time my faithful readers, au revoir! Sorry for a boring post, maybe next time it'll be more interesting.. and maybe pictures. If you're still bored, go to my myspace
