I pretty much spent the first half of my work day today researching and brainstorming restaurants for dinner in San Francisco next week with my team. At work, I'm 1 in 5 coordinators (all women) across the U.S. Next week we have a RMC (Regional Marketing Coordinator) Team Meeting/Retreat for just us, and I volunteered to find places we can go to for dinner since I'm the only one from California. The other gals are from Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, and New York. I'm so excited to finally meet them all in person! Anyway, I was so proud of the list I came up with that I wanted to save it somewhere. When I get a promotion, I'm going to Gary Danko! I know that I'm missing a whole bunch of my favorite spots in SF, but this is more than plenty for now. :)
(This was cut and pasted from the email I sent to the gals.)

The Little Things... (Repost from my Tumblr - February 16, 2011)
I’ve always been in a relationship or some “sort” of relationship (hehe) or had a crush… so every time I did anything, I thought for two. “Shopping time! Oh wait, let me get him a new tie! It’s going to look so cute on him!” “I feel like dinner tonight with my girls. Oh, but let me get him something to go!” FOR THE RECORD: I’m not complaining, I take pride in the way I’ve treated my men. It’s my way of being generous and there is nothing wrong with being thoughtful or spoiling anybody. But sometimes, you start to feel resentful. You KNOW when someone is taking advantage of you. Then you start to focus on all of the THINGS. Up until my early twenties (how sad… I’m in my mid-twenties now), I was mostly resentful and oober materialistic and measured their love for me with stuff. It’s a disappointment to remember how I was because even though I was generous, I had selfish-thinking. I didn’t give enough attention to the little things. You won’t be happy if you think like that.
It hasn’t been until recently that I started to value the little things and gain more selfless-thinking. Don’t get me wrong—I will still spoil any man I’m involved with, but I no longer expect anything pretty in return. It’s nice, but it’s not required. If I fell for you when you had nothing, obviously I don’t want you now for something. Don’t worry, no one is taking advantage of me right now. I just think it’s funny and rather naive when people make assumptions about the kind of relationship you have or had with someone. When you see someone doing anything in their power to make you happy—selflessly—that’s when you know they care.
Last night I was talking on the phone, and I was trying to remember all of the “little” things that have been done for me. All of the presents that money could never buy. And even when money was spent, I thought of the journey that went along with that gift—because sometimes that matters too. You don’t have to continue reading… I’m actually going to start bragging now.
On my birthday, I was stuck at work and he was unemployed. What did he do? He lived an hour away but drove to meet me on my lunch with burritos from a favorite joint we discovered together. We had a random picnic at a random park.
He walked into my work, handed me a box of our favorite chicken, and walked right out without saying a word.
“V-day in a box” complete with corny red-heart wrapping and popcorn, a DVD, and my favorite chocolate.
On another Valentine’s day, we were both working late. He coordinated with my best friend to have her drop me off at the hotel he worked at after our shift was done. I don’t even think he was done with his shift, but he rushed me to a room that was filled with music, candles, and rose petals… complete with a dinner for two. Hella corny, but I felt pretty damn special.
A home-made card that was more like a flipbook. Last page said, “Will you….” and I had to open up another flap that read… “be mine?”
A “mix-tape” CD with corny love songs and a collage of pictures on the CD itself and on the outside cover.
I had to cancel vacation plans to LA with friends at the last minute because I was short the moolah. He was going to a sold out event in LA with other friends the same weekend. Without me asking, he made arrangements for me to get there (I had a free flight home). Once we were there, he drove me around to meet up with my friends (SoCal is huge). Plans fell through. After a lot of effort, he got me a ticket to the sold out event with the little money he had and I had the time of my freaking life. He later shared that he almost gave his ticket to a friend to take me to Disneyland instead just because he hated seeing me sad. I would have been happy either way! He refused to let me give up.
I told him to leave me alone and meant it, but he stayed. As women, we know that saying “leave me alone” is a test sometimes. It really means so much more when you mean it, but he really stays! haha
Washing my car, going to bed early because I am, random kisses, making dinner, bringing me lunch because I spent all of my money, doing my laundry, trying to surprise me after already ruining a surprise, rushing home just to snuggle, making my problems his problems, getting picked up at 4am because my ride was drunk, noticing my love for lemon, watching all of my girly TV shows, thinking long-term, sitting in the carpool lane with me on his day off because I’m running late for work…
I can go on for days because I’ve finally learned that these matter most when you’re with someone special, and you should never ever ever keep track because you’re not having a competition.
I’m glad I’m not that selfish anymore. Appreciate the little things, appreciate him, appreciate her. But also, don’t hesitate to do some spoiling either. Just be good to each other, but if you cheat on me, you might get stuck with a $6k credit card to pay for….. ahahha JUST KIDDING ;)

I have another (vague) thing to add to my list...
Surprising me with a picnic (sort of) lunch of one of my favorite foods, and making me feel comfortable in the most uncomfortable place.
It's a nice feeling remembering all of the sweet little things! I miss having a him.

I have another (vague) thing to add to my list...
Surprising me with a picnic (sort of) lunch of one of my favorite foods, and making me feel comfortable in the most uncomfortable place.

Where has the year gone?
I can't believe it's the middle of August already. This time last year I was interviewing for my current job... so crazy. Let's see what has happened since my last post...
-Went to Coachella and had the greatest time of my life! I probably slept a total of 8 hours that whole weekend, but it was well worth it. I even drove home the whole way! Go me! Already got my tickets for next year... 8 more months until Coachella 2013.
-Wedding festivities - I was a bridesmaid for Therese -- suuuuuper fun! Bachelorette party, bridal shower, bridal tea party, etc. etc. etc.
-Planned and attended a gajillion work events
-My beloved Uncle Gally passed away, but at least heaven gained an angel. :)
-Didn't go to EDC after all, but didn't really care to go anymore anyway.
-Birthdays, BBQs, sporting events, and shows... oh my!
-Got a stupid speeding ticket - my 2nd one ever! The last one was when I was 19. $234 or $291 with traffic school. :(
-DISNEYLAND!!!!!! I have definitely been taking advantage of my annual pass.
-Some business travel
-Looked into doing wedding planning on the side and scored some opportunities... I can't wait for this to start!
-Opted out of my Sharks season tickets this year because I decided to get Niners season tickets at the Santa Clara stadium instead.
-Las Vegas (again) with the girlies and went to EBC 2 days in a row.
-Hard Summer Music Festival in LA
-The Do Over in LA!!!!!!!
-Outside Lands Music Festival in SF
-My little sister turned 21 just a few days ago (August 13). Oh how I (barely) remember being 21... What crazy person would drink Patron shots, Jager bombs, Silverbacks, and LCs (liquid cocaine) all in one night? Anyway, good luck to your liver, sis.
What I'm looking forward to...
-More business travel!!
-Rock the Bells - which is 2 days this year
-Football season for 2 reasons --
1. My Niners season tickets
2. Fantasy football with the boys - I think this is going to be our 4th year together.
-Treasure Island Music Festival
-Oktoberfest
-Being a Godmother for the first time to baby Stella Marie!!!!!!!!
-Holy Ship!! Holy Ship!! Holy Ship!!
-Even more shows and sporting events!
.TIME FLIES! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FUN!

I love my job, but TGIFF!
TGIFF--I've been saying this every Friday of my 8-to-5-Monday-through-Friday life... and it never gets old. Please don't ask me what the other "F" stands for because I'm sure you can figure it out. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but we all need a break sometimes, and that's why I looOOOoooOooove the weekend.
Anyway, I can't help but think about how happy I am at my new job because it's more than just a job, it's a motherfreakin' career. I've been on this career path since 2008, and I am FINALLY right where I need to be. What exactly do I do? I do legal marketing for the largest labor and employment law firm in the world (loud and proud!). This means I help positively market my firm and the attorneys within my firm, which entails a lot of researching, writing, planning, collaborating, socializing, showing off, and thinking - 7 things I already love to do on the regular. ;) I'm part of a large marketing team that spans across the U.S., and I work with 3 managers to support all of the offices in California and the Pacific Northwest, including our headquarters, San Francisco... phew! When my sister asks me what I do, which she asks me about once a week, I tell her that I pimp attorneys. It's true... We help make our attorneys look good and sell their business to top-notch clients. Shoot, I think I'm going to copy and paste that description in my LinkedIn profile now.
One part of my job, that I absolutely looooooove, is event planning. I'm currently prepping for 3 events next week in San Francisco, Seattle, and Anchorage. Come on, stress, bring it! Until then, I can't wait lay around in my pantulog and watch my favorite shows on my 46-inch for the next two days.

First post of 2012 and as a 27-year-old!
What's happened since my last post? Besides my usual sporting events and concerts, I...
-bought a shiny new white iPhone 4S... woot woot!
-got a new job, a big promotion to what I was doing.
-traveled to Las Vegas with my best friend and our mommies, San Diego twice, Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, and Disneyland for my 27th birthday.
-attended not one, but TWO, 49er playoff games AND officially became a season ticket holder for 2012-13.
-got asked to be a bridesmaid in a close girlfriend's wedding and said, "I do!"
-bought lots of laser hair removal vouchers.
-turned 27... le sigh.
-started updating my Flickr (http://flickr.com/julepez) again since I stopped in June of 2010. I still have all of 2011 and the last third of 2010 to upload. However, you'll need me to add you as a contact in order to view... womp womp! Don't want any creepsters and/or stalkers looking at my pictures. :)
Wow, that's a lot in the last 5 months. What do I have to look forward to?
-Coachella in a few short weeks.
-Therese's bachelorette party in Vegas! It's going to be cray-cray!!!
-Therese's wedding with an OPEN BAR.
-EDC - I know, I don't like the idea of raves, but I am pretty excited to see the line up... besides, YOLFO, and you're only young once (YOYO).
-Holy Ship in 2013.
I plan to write about EVERYTHING. For now, it just feels good to be writing again. :)

I love my iPhone
A few days ago, I stumbled upon this article from the New York Times. I couldn't help but laugh and shake my head because it's so true: "Friends who have accidentally left home without their iPhones tell me they feel stressed-out, cut off and somehow un-whole. That sounds a lot like separation anxiety to me." I get bad separation anxiety when my phone runs out of battery. The article talked about "phantom vibrations" when you check your phone every 5 minutes because you think you hear/feel it. They even did studies comparing fMRI/brain tests.
My addiction started in 2008 when Jonathan bought us the iPhone 3G. He worked for Apple at the time, did work for the iPhone, and so we "had" to make the switch from Verizon to AT&T. He paid our termination fees and everything. Was it worth it? Hell yeah! I used my phone for everything. In 2009, shortly after they announced the release of the 3GS, I dropped my phone (that was in a case!!!) and the screen cracked!!! My heart dropped and I wanted to cancel my plans for that night just so I could go to the Apple Store to buy a new one! The next morning, I went to the store and paid full retail price for a beautiful white 3GS. I gave my cracked 3G to my sister's boyfriend (since he had AT&T and she still had Verizon). Honestly, I could have just paid $50 to get the screen fixed, but I was finding every excuse to get my hands on the newest iPhone. "Well, Jonathan bought my 3G, so paying full price for a 3GS is ok!"
Then June 2010 rolled around and they announced the iPhone 4. My sister wanted to make the switch from Verizon to AT&T so she agreed that I could get the new iPhone under her contract, and in exchange, she would wait in line for me and keep my 3GS. That was pretty damn even to me! Leanna and her boyfriend waited in line for me all day long, but they said Apple treated them well. They got all kinds of goodies while waiting in line. She came to my work and I had my beautiful brand new iPhone 4 in hand!
Today, Apple made an announcement about the iPhone 4S, and I had another battle with myself. I've decided that I am getting the new iPhone 4S. I had to write out my reasons to decide...
1. I am due for an upgrade (since I used Leanna's last year), so I will only be paying the upgrade price.
2. Nextworth.com will purchase my iPhone 4 for $200 OR I can sell it to someone for the same or more.
3. If I don't use my upgrade this year and save it for 2012, I probably won't be able to sell my 2010 iPhone 4 for $200. Selling my iPhone 4, paying the upgrade price for the iPhone 4s, and paying retail price for the 2012 iPhone is the same (money-wise) as not being able to sell my iPhone 4 and paying upgrade price for the iPhone next year in 2012. I will also be able to sell the iPhone 4S.

Jungle Baby
Jungle is one of my beautiful kitties, and she is the most needy out of the three. She follows me everywhere and loves human interaction. If not me, then she follows my sister. I honestly think she likes my sister more than she likes me. :( The weird thing is, you have to let her come to you.. if you try to pick her up, she'll try to scratch your face off. Anyway, I hadn't seen her the last 2 days and figured she was sleeping in my sister's room or outside somewhere because we let our cats go in and out of the house. When it's time for bed, they're all inside the house in their designated "spots". This morning, Blizzard and Darla greeted me (along with Peanut.. our hyperactive dog), but Jungle was no where in sight. I started getting sad and thinking all kinds of horrible things. Did someone find her? Did she get stuck somewhere? And I can't even say the last thing I was thinking. I was so relieved when my cousin texted me back. My pets are always so therapeutic that I can't even imagine life without them anymore. When I'm having a bad day, all I need is one of them to snuggle with and I feel 100% again.
As soon as I get home, I'm putting all of their collars back on. No more going outside!!!

Me v. Live Nation
In November 2009, I bought tickets to see Mario (the guy who looks like a baby Chris Rock and sings "Let Me Love You") for me and J, and about two days later his concert was rescheduled. Live Nation informed me that I could either get my money back or hold onto my old tickets because they would be honored at the rescheduled show. We decided to hold onto the tickets because we really wanted to see him... big mistake! I waited some months and when I'd call Live Nation for the status, they would just tell me that the new date hadn't been set and to just stay tuned.
November 2010 rolled around and I realized I still had the unused tickets sitting in my wallet. I called Live Nation once again, and they told me they couldn't find my order on file anymore because they merged with Ticketmaster and the system was different blah blah blah. They said they would get in contact with me once they knew more. Months passed... nothing. Obviously at this point, I realized they weren't going to reschedule the show and I just wanted my money back. I continued to call Ticketmaster and they continued to give me the run-around. I think that most people would just say forget it at this point, but it bugged the hell out of me.
A few weeks ago, I saw the customer service email sitting in my inbox, so I decided to give those mofos another call. The first rep I spoke to was a complete bitch. She said something along the lines of, "Why are you only calling now if this happened two years ago?" OH. MY. GOD... I exploded. HELLO!!!!!!!!??!?! DO YOU WANT TO SEE ALL OF THE EMAILS I SENT? DO YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH TIME I'VE SPENT CALLING YOU PEOPLE???? She forwarded me to her manager who was being a dick as well. They said that a mass refund was issued to everyone who was supposed to attend that concert, but I knew that I never got my refund. They both told me that there was nothing they could do because the order number I was giving them wasn't coming up in their system. I explained Live Nation and Ticketmaster becoming one, so the system was different blah blah blah.. but I also said I had all of the original emails/receipts, my bank statements, and everything they needed to show them I never got my refund. In the end, this dickhead manager gave me a customer service email, phone number, and snail mail address. He told me that I would have to write a letter or call. I exploded again.... why the hell couldn't he just tell me that from the very beginning?
I sent an email and explained everything. I got a response saying that everyone got their money back and to double check my bank statements. So what did I do? I called Bank of America and got a copy of all of my motherfreakin statements from November 2009 until now. I went through my statements (it didn't take long) and found the original transaction of when I purchased the tickets and what do you know? NO SIGN OF THE REFUND. A part of me was praying that I really did get the refund but I had just overlooked it because I didn't want to deal with anymore BS. My mind was at ease when I saw on paper that my refund was never issued. I replied to the email and said I had just gone through 2 years of statements and found no such refund and would PDF my statements to prove it. The rep said she would be back in touch within a week. I emailed her yesterday to follow-up and this was her response:
Hello Julie,
Just about an hour ago sent out another email to the team to get an update and they have informed me the files have been archived and can’t be opened.
So what I am going to do for you “If it is ok” send you out a Gift Card in the amount of $XXX. Please reply to this email and let me know if that is suitable to you.
Thanks
Susie
A GIFT CARD?????? I was a bit insulted but let's face it, I use Ticketmaster a lot so whatevs. I said that was fine and now they are sending me my gift card this week. UGH FINALLY!!!!!! After 22 months of fighting with Live Nation/Ticketmaster, I am finally getting justice!!! Sorry if this was boring to you, but I feel like a champion right now. Now let's hope the stupid gift card doesn't get lost in the mail.
Now I'm starting to wonder how many people never got their money back from this Mario concert!
November 2010 rolled around and I realized I still had the unused tickets sitting in my wallet. I called Live Nation once again, and they told me they couldn't find my order on file anymore because they merged with Ticketmaster and the system was different blah blah blah. Second Love
There's nothing harder than saying goodbye to someone you used to love (or even someone that you still love). I feel stupid when I get sappy because I open up this side to me that isn't bulletproof. I'm making the exception right now because I wanted to share a song that was sent to me today. "It Will Rain" by Bruno Mars hit really close to home, and I couldn't help but think about my second love. It's hard to talk about him because almost everyone that knows me thought he was bad news, but he wasn't, not to me, and I will always defend that. Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean it didn't make sense. Anyway, it's even weird to refer to him as a love because we never made anything official. I used to put my relationship with my first love on blast--I had to remind the world how much I loved him, planned out every year of our future, and made it hell for any girl that looked at him--and look how well that worked out for me! ;) I told myself I would never be that girl again. I would let love be and go with the flow.
I was involved with my first love for 10 years (on and off) that I wasn't expecting to find love again so soon, but I did! Just one month later! If only I had an idea of what the hell I had in store for me. He was exactly what I needed at that time for my broken heart. The day we met, he was dancing in his kitchen to, "So You Can Cry" by Ne-Yo--the song I listened to over and over again after my break up with my first love. I don't know, I thought it was cute/weird. That one meeting turned into lunch, and lunch turned into countless conversations, endless nights, and unforgettable memories--mixed in with tears, drama, and heartbreak... over the span of 2.5 years. It's crazy how the first few moments with someone new goes in slow motion... and as time goes by, the fights seem to be on repeat and the happy times on shuffle. He was my best friend, that turned into my secret fling, that turned into my love, that turned into my greatest enemy. Actually, he stayed my best friend through it all except for when we hated each others' guts. We shared the same love for music, sports, and travel, and I've never met a person that was able to turn my life upside down so many times before. He was the first person to ever say "no" to me, while doing everything in his power to keep me happy. He played all of my "games", and passed every "test" I threw at him with flying colors. He was able to keep up with my arguments and he even cooked for me. I met my match and it scared me sh*tless.
Some months have passed since things ended between us... and all I can say is that I have no regrets (no matter what I said after the initial split). But if I could do anything over again, I probably wouldn't have kept what we shared a secret from it's beginning because it really was something great. Two years ago, I truly believed that you couldn't get hurt if you didn't acknowledge anything and kept your feelings to yourself... haha silly me! After EVERYTHING (I will spare you the details because there are some crazy and complicated details), we were able to close up the open wounds and say goodbye on good terms. Whatever he is doing right now, I honestly hope that he is happy. The one thing I learned from my second love? Never fall in love with your best friend. :) You may or may not know who I am talking about, and you may or may not be judging me right now. One thing you should know about me: IDGAF. One thing I know about you: you do because you read this far!
Happy listening!
And you know what they say... third time's the charm!

Happy half birthday (+ 1 day) to me!!!
I've been thinking about reviving my blog for some time now because as you can see, I started blogging in 2001, at the tender age of 16... isn't that crazy????? 10 whole freakin' years ago! LOADS has happened in the last 10 years. Shoot, LOADS has happened in the last 10 days! I've been using my Tumblr sporadically in the last 2 years, but I don't feel like I can post anything of substance on there. Anyway, my blog is for me and whoever is interested in what I have to say. So please remember what our friend Thumper said: If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all. :)
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

WOW
I am still in awe about how much my life has changed since my last posting on this site. Let's see if I can keep it up! It might be a challenge to update both this and my tumblr, but we shall see.

keeping up my blogs!
Yesterday, I was stressin because I didn't know how to get to work, but good thing the boytoy didn't leave for sf so he dropped me off =) even though I was a little late =/ After work, I went home, sat around, and mom came home and said we could pick up my car!!! whoohoo! So we drove to Mr. Phan's house, and got my car then visited the cousins after. It feels so good to have my car back.. but the engine check light is on and the oil light flickers! eeeek.. but Mr. Phan said that it's the sensors.. so if it doesn't go away... then I need to bring it back. Dangit. So let's just pray the lights stay off! Today, I drove myself to work, home, and now I am doing nothing. Tonight is the season finale of Nip/Tuck! It just seems like yesterday when Jonathan and I were browsing throughg the channels and decided to watch the season premiere. Time flies! Today I was kinda eh.. but then it got fixed.. so I feel better now.
Two weeks? I can do it. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed.
In addition to keeping up with my blogs, here are some resolutions I plan on keeping for 2007:
1. Eat healthy.. so no more late night meals at 2am =X
2. Go to the gym at least 3-4 times a week
3. Spend less money
4. No more buying other people shots unless they buy or bought me one that same night <---I am sticking to this one for sure! If I have to take a shot by myself, so be it! hahah
5. Be nice
6. Not to take things too seriously
7. Do more spur of the moment things without thinking them through!
8. Stop overanalyzing everything and just enjoy life

starting my resolution early. this is a LONG update!
I have no idea why I stopped blogging in the first place.... I guess I just got really busy! Anyway... I miss blogging and I kinda regret not writing about 2006 as much =( But I'll start now since the holidays are coming up =) Let's see if I can remember my week... ok now it's more like weeks!
Sunday 11/12: I woke up bright and early to Mr. Patalot's snoring.. then went back to sleep. The fam party was a success! Mom and sis left early and Jonathan and I changed out of what we fell asleep in.. haha.. showered and left Concord. I drove back with Jonathan to the city since my mom made him stay the night at our hotel because his ass got so TRASHED the night before! But what can I say? The Warriors hella won by 30 points.... best game I've watched so far! We went to Jer's place (where he's been staying)... drove around for parking.. then we dropped Jonathan off at work. Jer dropped me back at his place and I slept all day while he was out doing community service and playing bball and while Jonathan
was at work. Finally, I woke up and went to Haight with Jer, Joven, and their other friend. Didn't find anything... and then it was time to pick Jonathan back up. We chilled at Jer's for a bit.. had some high times.. then Jonathan and I went to eat at King of Thai. We ordered wayyy too much food. Then he dropped me off at my Uncle's house in the city where my family was.. then went home! GOOD ASS FREAKIN WEEKEND!
Monday 11/13: Went to work... got frustrated.. went home early.. picked up sister at school.. then went with mom to Palo Alto for her job interview! She was using us for the carpool lane! Then we headed home and had dinner at Lee Noodle.
Tuesday 11/14: FINALLY went to school after missing the entire week before.. hahaha.. yeah I know that's bad!!! I was SO LOST in class, but I think I'm up to speed now. I ended up skipping my first class though.. oh wellll.. I can get all the notes online anyway. I headed home, got ready, then Huynh and Tina picked me up and we went to DnB's for Karen's 23rd bday! I didn't get too drunk... maybe a little buzzed... and I had the best time playing the car racing game because there were 7 of us. We said loser buys a round.... so I was in first place during the last 2 laps.. then one of them freakin hits me and I wasn't able to catch up and I get 7th place!!!!!! I was sooo mad.. so we played 2 more times and I placed 4th and then 2nd. By the time we were gonna buy the rounds, the bar was closed! So we headed out but noticed the "teeth" quarter machine and bought hella fake teeth for each of us.. haha. You'll just have to see the pictures to understand what I'm trying to say. Then home we went and off to bed I went!
Wednesday 11/15: I woke up helllllla early and didn't even shower just so I could be at school by 830! I had to go to the Psyc Dept to get a permission code for a senior seminar I HAVE to take if I want to be done by next quarter. I ended up being #4 in line... but had to wait 30-40 minutes for the Psyc office to open! At first I was pissed off because they weren't going to let me get a permission code! They said I wasn't graduating in winter, so I don't get priority.. after bitching and explaining that I have some credits from deanza that I need to transfer over... they let me and I got a permission code and now I can be officially done by winter 2007!!!! Anyway... I went back home.. planned to sleep but I forgot what I did after... probably nothing
Thursday 11/16: I woke up even earlier because I had to shower and headed to school... I hate thursdays! 830am to 545pm straight classes! Well... I get like a 50 minute break before noon but yeahhhh.. I brought my laptop to school so chatted during my entire 12 o clock class for almost 2 hours.. haha. The day went by pretty quick and I headed home and got ready for Thursday night festivities! Meg came over and we went to DnB's... we got there before 11, so I thought they would let her in with her passport, but dumb ass manager even came out and wouldn't let her!!!!! Argh.. she's almost 22 too dammit... so after being pissed for 5 minutes, we headed downtown to taste... hellllllllllaaa early. Some guys almost backed up into Meg's car because they weren't paying attention!! But we saw them later at taste and they bought her a drink. We met up with Hene in the parking lot and the three of us had a good ol' time together. So good, in fact, we almost got into a fight with a guy.. like a REAL fight. He was about ready to sock us.. hahahah. So basically, he was dancing with us, and we pushed him away and said we didn't want him to dance with us and he started dancing with us more and kept saying "f u bitches" and we just hellllllllllllllllllllllla laughed in his face while flipping him off because his friend was holding him back... and he kept saying "f u bitches.. I didnt want to dance with you!" So the bouncer came and stopped the whole thing in the middle of the dam dance floor! hahahha. The bouncer told us nicely to calm down because if he kicks out the guy he has to kick us out too... so we continued to dance. We saw a bunch of familiar faces then it was over. Hene went back to sf while Meg and I headed to Bubble Act and met up with Nathan and Bernard. Duuuuude.. I haven't been to that place in a longgggg time. Brings up nice late night memories =) So we ate a waffle, 2 orders of chicken, and a crepe. Called it a night, headed home, and went to bed.
Friday 11/17: I woke up early once again for work from 8-430... went by quick because I had hella crap to do then headed home to "pack". I ended up scoring tickets for only $100 for 2 tickets for John Legend for the next day from this dude... so I decided to go to sf and spend time with Jonathan. I drove over there with mom, sis, and little Jon... got dropped off at Academy of Art.. met up with Jonathan and had to pretend I was a student. I had to sign in and put a fake student number and I think they knew.. but oh well. We stayed in the computer lab for a while and then left to Jer's place (where he's still staying). Then we went to go eat sushi at sakabune (sp?) and had hella for only $15.. headed to Dom's, got ready hella quick and then went to this place called Bubble Lounge. Jonathan was getting pissy because it took us almost 30 minutes to look for dam parking and we kept getting lost. It put me in a bad mood, actually! It was almost 12 when we were standing in line then I called my bff to wish her a happy bday! HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY, LISA!!! LOVE YOU! The place was really kick back... older crowd.. richer too.. but it was ok. I ended up getting reallllly buzzed off the champagne and KOed in the car. I woke up only to find out I missed out on food =( and Jonathan trying to get me out of the car! hahahah.. then we got ready for bed and KOed.
Saturday 11/18: We woke up, got ready, ate sushi, picked up Dom, headed to Oakridge (to get Uncle Dante's bday gift and my mom's gift), then to Uncle Dojie's to watch the Pacquiao fight. We played these riddle games all night and left. I ate soooo much. HAPPY 21ST LISA!
Sunday 11/19: Stayed home all day.
Monday 11/20: Work.
Tuesday 11/21: Went to school.. week 9! whoohoo! Then I headed home, got ready, went to Sonoma Chicken Coop with Mariel for Dumlao's bday, then to D&B's, and home. I called my mom at midnight to wish her a happy bday! hahaha... I was kinda buzzed too.. whoops sorry mom! I got kinda irritated this night, too! Anyway... no school until the next week bc of Thanksgiving break!
Wednesday 11/22: My mommy's 44th bday!! I stayed home all day while everyone was at work.. then randomly drove Nathan's ass to Hayward to pick up his car. Drove home as quick as I could then ate at Chowking and went grocery shopping for Thanksgiving. later that night I went to Tiki, then to Taste, then Pho in Milpitas. Ended up losing my check card and got unauthorized charges =( But good news is I ran into my boytoy at Taste! Been forever since he's been downtown!
Thursday 11/23: Thanksgiving!!! I was home all day long... watched mom prep for dinner at our house! But no one was here so I left to go to Hayward to get Jonathan... ate dinner... watched Maddox do tricks.. then back home and ate some more! We just chilled with the cousins and played Mario Kart and Mario Party. I dropped Jonathan off at home, chilled for a bit, then headed home.
Friday 11/24: Black Friday! We didn't go crazy shopping like most people... I just went with my mom and sis to SF to the Jessica McClintock Outlet and bought 2 dresses for Leanna's winterballs. Then we headed to Great Mall and shopped a little. Back home, I got ready and went to Linn's party. I don't remember crap from that night. Thanks Henessey.. hahaha.
Saturday 11/25: I went to work, went home and slept. Then I got ready... and bf told me he couldn't make it to Lisa's =( He had work the next day and homework =((((( But it's ok. Erica picked me up along with Lisa and Jess and we went to Miyake early. It was freakin coldddddd and we were there hella early! After eating dinner, then going outside to wait in the cold, it was finally our time to get seated again. Sake bombing! whoowhoo. Headed to Blue Chalk.. fun times. Lisa "decided" to leave right at 115.. haha. Then we wandered the streets of Palo Alto for a bit and headed home after numerous attempts. I hope you had fun, Lisa! I still can't believe you're barely 21.. hahaha. It seems like you've been 21 forever.
Sunday 11/26: I was home all day long until boytoy informed me he was home. Soooo I went to hang out with him for a bit at night then went back home.
Monday 11/27: Last day at Robinson and Wood! Maggie took me out to lunch along with Darrell, Barch, Jim, and my mom. Good food! Then headed home to do nothing.
Tuesday 11/28: I didn't want to go to my first class.. had a pop quiz in the second class... but didn't care.. and didn't want to go to school for just one class so I gave myself the day off again. hahahah. ahhhh I missed a lot of school this quarter! Actually, just the month of freakin November!
Wednesday 11/29: I was a good student and met up with Jenn at Starbucks on Coleman so we could write our papers. I had a 12-page paper to write. Then she left to go to class and I left to go to my mom's going away party since it was her last day at Robinson & Wood. Went back to Starbucks and met up with Jenn again to work diligently. I picked my mom up at work and went back home to finish my paper! I believe I was done before 8pm so that meant no all-nighter or last minute writing! whoohoo!
Thursday 11/30: I went to school.. all of my classes too! Well it was the last day of the quarter so I might as well.. hahaha. I went back home then later went to D&B's and Taste. Fun times with Mariel and Henessey.
Friday 12/1: wtf already December!! I slept in.. whooohooo and stayed home most of the day. Later on, I went to a party Chris told me to go to.. then we left right away and went to Tiki. It was an ok night. Didn't spend time with any girls!
Saturday 12/2: I dropped mom off at the airport, went back home to sleep, then headed to work. After work, we went to eat at Miguel's brother's restaurant - Malibu Grill - then headed home. I chilled with my sis then got ready and went to Abyss for Freddy.. but it was wack. There was supposed to be a fashion show but we left right before it began to go to Sofa Lounge. We ran into APL from BEP! Another freakin crazy ass night with Mariel and Henessey! hahaha
Sunday 12/3: Sheila and I decided to get piercings... so I brought my sis along.. and Mariel joined too. We went to Bulldog's.. I got my nose pierced for the third time and Sheila got her lip pierced. Then we went to Eastridge and I bought a DS with Brain Age. Then I went back home, "packed", and drove to SF. I met up with Jonathan near his Pasta Pomodoro... he HELLLA lagged. I was in my car for an hour and I got wireless so I was myspacing in my car.. hahaha. Then we went back to his place - my first time seeing it! OMG his room was so kawawa =( I forgot if we went out.. but I'm pretty sure we just stayed in.
Monday 12/4: The plan was to drive straight to SC.. but I was exhausted. Instead, we went to Kinko's to print out his hw, then grabbed lunch at Kitaro. We always eat sushi.. every single time I am in the city! It's ok though, I <3 sushi. So I dropped him off at school and decided to go to Ikea in Emeryville since I felt so sorry for him and his room =/. I bought a FEW things.. hahahah. By the time I was done, I was gonna drive to his place and decorate it and surprise him, but I ended up getting lost that by the time I found my way, it was time to pick him up already. I didn't take any "before" pictures, but this is what his room looks like now:

By the time we were done fixing stuff.. it was late.. and just stayed the night again.
Tuesday 12/5: I drove straight to SC and met up with Brenda at the library. We wrote our papers straight until 4pm.. and even turned it in late =( I'm pretty sure they're ok with the papers being a little late.. but now I'm kinda worried about something else! eeeek! I drove back home and saw my sissy... tried to get started on my other take home final.. but no luck.
Wednesday 12/6: I dropped Leanna off, picked up Brenda in SC, then paper writing again in the library. We were done by 3pm! whoohoo! Then drove fast to the SJ airport to drop her off! Back at home, I got my sis, headed to Eastridge to exchange my DS, then back to the SJ airport to get mom. After, we had dinner at Lee Noodle and back at home some bs happened =/ blah!
Thursday 12/7: I was home all day long since I had no car =( Mom and I went to get my car, but it wasn't ready yet. Later that night, I went to D&B's with Mehgan and met up with Jenn and Mariel and others, and then to Taste to meet up with Hene. Another fun night with the girls. We went to McDonald's in Milpitas and stuffed our faces! and then we found out how racist Hene was! hahahah. awww I <3 style="font-weight: bold;">Friday 12/8: I was home all day long again.. and later Mariel came to pick me up. We were gonna go downtown, but ended up driving to Milpitas to get gas and go to Walgreens.... hahha. Then we decided to just go home since it was raining.. hahahha.
Saturday 12/9: Finally went to work NOT hungover in a long time.. hahaha. Very very busy! Then I went home to pack again.. and mom dropped me off at Bart. It wasn't too bad riding that shiet alone. My first time riding it alone too! I got off Powell and Jonathan met up with me since I had no umbrella. We walked to the Parol Lantern Festival... his school took part in it for the first time! It was raining so the Parade part got cancelled but it was still cool. We took the bus to his car, then drove back to his place. It was still lookin pretty! Since it was raining, we decided to just stay in. We ordered pizza, watched tv, and played with my DS. I miss just staying in with him!
Today 12/10: Wow... I've been trying to work on this post for forever!!! Ok, soooo we woke up, got ready, cleaned his room, then headed back to SJ. We made a quick detour to Jamba Juice and then he dropped me off at home. I slept for a good 3 hours or so.. fell asleep watching "Pirates of the Caribbean 2" and woke up, ate, and now I am having Jonathan withdrawals.. ahahah. It's ok, he's gonna take me to work tomorrow and good thing no more school until freakin January!!! Dam.. it's already 1 and I'm still wide awake. Ok... my next update will be in a week if I keep this up! I really want to keep this up again! If you read this whole thing.. then dam!
